Câble fibre optique Telegärtner L00889W0051

The Telegärtner L00889W0051 is a 2 m OM3 fibre optic cable with LC connectors and a 50 µm core diameter designed for high-speed data transmission in data centres and high-performance computing environments. The cable comes in an aqua jacket and is supplied with field-proven FO pigtails that feature gel-free, easy-strip buffering to allow quick removal of up to one metre of coating for fast installation. The product is available individually or as a complete set.

Advantages

Gel-free easy-strip buffering enables rapid preparation and reduces installation time. OM3 multimode fibre and 50 µm core ensure compatibility with high-speed multimode applications. LC connectors provide a compact, industry-standard interface for patch panels and transceivers. The aqua jacket follows common colour coding for OM3, simplifying identification in cabling systems.

Suitable for (tasks / use cases)

• Data centre interconnects
• Server and switch uplinks
• High-performance computing clusters
• Patch panel to transceiver connections

How to use

Prepare the FO pigtail by using the gel-free, easy-strip buffering to remove the required length of coating — up to one metre can be stripped at once. Terminate or connect the LC connectors to compatible ports on patch panels, transceivers or equipment. Route the cable according to standard cable management practices and secure it to avoid stress on connectors. Test the link with appropriate fibre testers after installation to verify continuity and loss performance.

Recommendations

Handle the fibre carefully during stripping and routing to avoid microbends; follow standard multimode fibre handling procedures and use suitable tools for LC connector mating and testing.
