Cheville à bascule Fischer 80187

The Fischer 80187 toggle bolt is a fastening solution designed for anchoring in a variety of base materials including brick, concrete, gypsum blocks and plasterboard. The fastener has an overall length of 100 mm and requires a drill hole diameter of 1.6 cm; it is compatible with M5 connecting threads. Each pack contains 25 pieces, providing enough quantity for multiple fixtures or larger installations. The product is intended to offer reliable support for heavier loads where a blind-side expansion anchor is required.

Advantages

The Fischer 80187 toggle bolt features a robust toggle mechanism that expands behind the substrate to distribute load over a larger area, reducing pull-out risk. Its construction suits a range of base materials and the fixed length and drill diameter make planning and installation predictable. Supplied in a 25-piece pack, the set reduces the need for repeated ordering when carrying out several fixings on site or in workshop projects.

Suitable for

• Anchoring fixtures into plasterboard walls
• Mounting shelving and cabinets on gypsum block or hollow walls
• Fixing items to brick or concrete where access is only available from one side
• General DIY and construction tasks requiring blind-side expansion anchors

Key specifications

• Overall length: 100 mm
• Drill hole diameter: 1.6 cm
• Compatible connecting thread: M5
• Quantity per pack: 25 pieces
• Suitable base materials: brick, concrete, gypsum block, plasterboard

How to use

Drill a hole of the specified diameter (1.6 cm) through the fixture and into the base material. Insert the toggle bolt with the toggle folded, push it through the hole until the toggle opens behind the substrate. Pull the bolt back lightly so the toggle is flush against the rear side of the substrate, then tighten the connecting screw to secure the fixture. Ensure the chosen screw or bolt matches the M5 thread compatibility and the thickness of the fixture material.

Recommendations

Select the correct drill bit and verify the hole diameter and depth before inserting the toggle bolt. For hollow or weak substrates, ensure the toggle fully deploys behind the surface. Use appropriate protective equipment and follow local building codes. If load values or exact pull-out strengths are required for critical installations, refer to Fischer technical data or testing documentation to confirm suitability for the intended load.
