Cisaille Gedore 420025

Gedore 420025 snips for right-hand cutting are intended for long straight cuts in sheet materials. They feature a Berlin pattern with ground cutting edges and are suitable for sheet steel up to 1.0 mm thickness at a tensile strength of 600 N/mm². The blades are black varnished and the handles are coated with blue epoxy for improved grip and corrosion resistance.

Advantages

The ground cutting edges deliver precise, clean cuts while the Berlin pattern provides reliable alignment for long straight trimming. A black varnish finish on the blades increases wear resistance, and the blue epoxy-coated handles offer a comfortable non-slip hold during extended use.

Suitable for

• Cutting sheet metal up to 1.0 mm (600 N/mm² strength)
• Long straight cuts in steel and similar materials
• Professional workshop and on-site metalworking tasks

How to use

Position the snips so the right-hand cutting orientation follows the intended cut line and make steady, even passes for long straight cuts. Use the full length of the blade where possible to reduce stress on the cutting edge and maintain control. After cutting, wipe blades clean and check for burrs before storing.

Recommendations

For best results when cutting thicker or harder materials near the specified limit, work slowly with several light passes rather than forcing a single heavy cut. Regularly inspect and maintain the cutting edges and keep the tool dry to preserve the black varnish and epoxy-coated handles.
