Ciseau de maçon Cimco 130070

The Cimco 130070 masonry chisel is manufactured from chromium-vanadium steel and features a bull point tip with a working diameter of 1.6 cm. It is a single-piece tool supplied as one chisel per pack, designed for puncturing, breaking out and shaping masonry materials where concentrated impact and controlled removal of material are required.

Advantages

The chromium-vanadium steel construction provides high strength and wear resistance while maintaining edge stability under repeated hammer blows. The bull point tip concentrates force on a small area for efficient penetration and controlled fracturing of brick, concrete and mortar joints. The compact diameter and balanced geometry allow for accurate positioning and predictable chisel behavior during manual or powered hammer use.

Suitable for

• Puncturing and making starter holes in brick and concrete
• Breaking out mortar joints and removing small sections of masonry
• Shaping and trimming blocks, bricks and tiles in renovation work
• Detail chiseling where a narrow, concentrated tip is required

Key specifications

• Material: chromium-vanadium steel
• Tip style: bull point
• Working diameter: 1.6 cm
• Package quantity: 1 chisel per pack

How to use

Position the chisel tip on the target area and strike the blunt end with an appropriate hammer or a compatible powered hammer, using controlled blows. For puncturing, start with light taps to set the tip, then increase force as required. Maintain a consistent angle to direct fractures and control material removal. Where using a powered hammer, follow the tool manufacturer’s instructions for secure clamping and safe operation. Inspect the chisel before use for any signs of damage and replace if the tip or shank shows cracks or significant deformation.

Recommendations

Wear appropriate personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, gloves, ear protection and a dust mask when working with masonry. Keep the chisel clean and lightly lubricate the shank if required for insertion into holders. Store the tool in a dry place to avoid corrosion and check compatibility with hammer tools before powered use.
