Cordeau à tracer Stanley 0-47-100

The Stanley Chalk Line 0-47-100 is a durable marking tool designed for accurate layout and alignment in construction and DIY projects. It combines a high-visibility yellow line with a robust metal and die-cast aluminium body, a stainless steel end hook and a sealed powder compartment for reliable performance on job sites.

Advantages

The tool holds up to 30 g of chalk powder and is available in 15 m and 30 m lengths. Its die-cast aluminium and metal case provide strength and long life while the stainless steel end hook prevents rust and adds durability. The line can be locked by folding the handle, and chalk is added via a watertight threaded upper stopper with felt to regulate powder flow. A universal hanging clip and yellow colour improve visibility and convenience.

How to use

Fill the powder compartment by unscrewing the watertight milled stopper, add chalk powder and reattach the stopper so the felt regulator controls the flow. Secure the line hook to the target point, extend the line to the second point, pull taut and snap the line to leave a chalk mark. Fold the handle to block the line for storage or to prevent unwinding during use. For vertical alignment, suspend the tool and allow it to act as a plumb bob.

Recommendations

Use the supplied chalk capacity and the felt regulator to avoid overfilling. Store the tool dry to prevent corrosion and check the stainless steel hook and winding mechanism regularly for debris to ensure smooth operation.
