Horloge à quartz Braun BC06B-DCF Circle noire

The Braun BC06B-DCF Circle Black is a 200 mm diameter quartz wall clock with a minimalist round design and a black finish. It uses a DCF (GMT+1) radio-controlled movement preset for the Central European time zone (covers Germany, France, Netherlands, Belgium, Denmark, Switzerland, northern Italy and other countries in the same zone). The radio function can be switched off and the clock can be set manually if the DCF signal is not available.

Advantages

The BC06B-DCF offers a clear, easy-to-read dial based on a classic functionalist design originally derived from the ABW 41 by Dietrich Lubs. The 20 cm diameter face, absence of a lens to reduce reflections, and a quiet, precise updated movement ensure legibility and reliable timekeeping. Built from durable materials, the clock follows Braun’s minimalist principle of ‘less but better’ and is suitable for long-term use.

Suitable for

• Home rooms such as living room, kitchen or bedroom
• Office spaces, meeting rooms and reception areas
• Public or shared areas where a clear, non-reflective clock face is needed

How to use

Install one AA battery into the clock and hang it on a secure wall hook at the desired location. By default the movement will seek the DCF radio signal for Central European time; if the signal cannot be received, switch the radio function off and set the time manually using the adjustment on the rear of the case. Position the clock away from strong sources of electromagnetic interference to improve radio reception when using the DCF function.

Recommendations

For accurate DCF reception, place the clock on an interior wall with a clear path to the transmitter direction (generally north/east in Central Europe) and avoid metal-backed surfaces or large electronic devices nearby. If the clock is used outside the DCF coverage area, disable the radio function and set time manually to ensure correct operation.
