Répartiteur USB Type-C DeLOCK 87754

This splitter by Delock connects two DisplayPort monitors to a computer via a single USB Type-C port that supports DisplayPort alternate mode. It allows simultaneous operation of two monitors and supports resolutions up to 3840 x 2160 pixels. The compact, black plastic housing (49 × 61 × 12 mm) is designed for reliable everyday use.

Advantages

The DeLOCK USB Type-C Splitter 87754 provides Multi-Stream Transport (MST) capability so connected monitors can be managed individually in operating systems that support MST, enabling extended desktop configurations. If the host system does not support MST, the ViewXpand (VXP) technology merges displays of the same resolution into one large virtual display, allowing multi-monitor desktop output on systems such as macOS. The adapter supports a maximum combined resolution of 3840 x 1080 @ 60 Hz when using VXP and up to 3840 x 2160 for individual outputs where supported.

Suitable for

• Expanding a laptop or PC display to two DisplayPort monitors via one USB-C port
• Office multitasking with extended desktop across two screens
• Presentations or digital signage requiring two simultaneous outputs

How to use

Connect the USB Type-C plug of the splitter to a computer port that supports DisplayPort alternate mode. Attach up to two DisplayPort monitors to the splitter's DisplayPort outputs using DisplayPort cables. In Windows or other MST-capable systems, configure each monitor individually in the display settings to extend or rearrange the desktop. On hosts without MST support, the device will use VXP to present multiple monitors with the same resolution as a single large display; adjust resolution and arrangement in the host OS display preferences as needed.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use DisplayPort cables rated for the intended resolution and refresh rate, and ensure the host USB-C port supports DisplayPort alternate mode. When using VXP, set both external monitors to the same resolution to allow correct merging into a single desktop.
