Tronçonneuse Blaupunkt CS4120 sans fil

The Blaupunkt CS4120 Cordless Chainsaw is a battery-powered cutting tool designed for efficient wood cutting with a 20V lithium-ion battery and a compact form factor. Its lightweight construction and ergonomic handle provide manageable balance for extended use, while integrated safety features and a tool-free chain tensioning mechanism simplify operation and maintenance. The saw is intended to deliver steady cutting performance for routine yard work and light to moderate professional tasks.

Advantages

The chainsaw combines cordless convenience with the torque of a 20V electric motor, offering freedom from mains power and reduced noise compared with fuel-driven alternatives. A lightweight housing and ergonomic grips reduce user fatigue during repeated cuts. Built-in safety switch and chain guard enhance operational safety, and the tool-free chain tensioning system enables quick adjustments without additional equipment. The battery-powered design produces low vibration and minimal emissions at point of use.

Suitable for

• Pruning branches and trimming small to medium trees
• Cutting firewood and splitting logs for domestic use
• General garden and property maintenance
• Light construction or carpentry tasks requiring portable cutting

Key specifications

• Power source: 20V lithium-ion battery (cordless)
• Tool-free chain tensioning system for quick adjustments
• Lightweight and compact body for improved handling
• Ergonomic handle design for better grip and control
• Integrated safety switch and chain guard for secure operation
• Low vibration operation suitable for prolonged use

How to use

Before use, ensure the battery is fully charged and correctly inserted according to the tool’s battery bay markings. Inspect the chain tension and adjust using the tool-free tensioning mechanism if necessary; the chain should sit snug on the bar without binding. Engage the safety switch, position the saw against the workpiece with a firm two-handed grip, and apply steady pressure to begin cutting. Allow the motor to reach working speed before engaging the wood and avoid forcing the saw through material; let the chain and motor perform the cut. After cutting, release the trigger and wait until the chain stops completely before setting the saw down. Perform routine checks of chain sharpness, tension, and lubrication to maintain cutting performance.

Recommendations

Use appropriate personal protective equipment such as eye protection, gloves, and hearing protection. Operate on stable footing, keep bystanders clear of the work area, and follow local regulations for battery charging and disposal. For sustained or heavy-duty work, allow periodic cooling breaks for battery and motor and consider using a spare battery to minimize downtime.
