Unité de distribution d'alimentation Basic ShiverPeaks BS60318

The Power Distribution Unit Basic ShiverPeaks BS60318 is a compact, six‑outlet PDU designed for reliable power delivery in small installations and workspaces. Housed in a robust black aluminium enclosure and fitted with a 1.5 m supply cable, this unit accepts a nominal input of 230 V and a maximum current of 16 A, supporting up to 3680 W of connected equipment. The product is TÜV GS and BS60318 certified to meet established safety and performance requirements.

Advantages

The aluminium housing provides mechanical strength and improved heat dissipation compared with standard plastic units, while the six AC outlets allow convenient connection of multiple devices without additional adaptors. The 1.5 m cable length gives flexibility for positioning the PDU in racks, under desks, or on workbenches. Certification by recognised bodies ensures conformity with safety standards and reduces risk when powering sensitive equipment.

Suitable for

• Powering desktop computers, monitors and peripherals
• Small server or network closets where multiple AC outlets are needed
• Home studios, workshops and multimedia setups
• Temporary event installations and test benches

Connect the 1.5 m mains cable to a compatible 230 V outlet and switch on the connected devices sequentially to avoid inrush current peaks. Distribute equipment across the six outlets to balance load where possible and monitor total current draw to remain within the 16 A and 3680 W limits.

Recommendations

Do not exceed the rated current or power. Avoid placing the unit in wet or excessively dusty environments. For permanent installations, ensure the mains supply and any protective fusing comply with local regulations. Regularly inspect the cable and housing for damage and disconnect power before cleaning or servicing.
