Abrasive Metabo 635213000

The Metabo Hook and loop sanding sheets (100 x 150 mm, P 60) are abrasive sheets designed for manual and machine sanding of wood surfaces. Each sheet features a P 60 grit for medium to coarse material removal and nine dust-extraction holes aligned for compatible orbital sanders. The hook and loop backing enables quick attachment and removal on sanding pads, while the pack of 10 sheets offers replacements for ongoing projects.

Advantages

The sanding sheets combine a durable abrasive grain with a reinforced backing to resist tearing during aggressive sanding. The nine-hole configuration improves dust extraction when used with compatible sanders, reducing clogging and improving surface finish consistency. The standardized 100 x 150 mm size and hook-and-loop fastening ensure straightforward fitting and fast sheet changes to maintain workflow.

Suitable for

• Sanding raw or painted wood surfaces
• Preparing timber for staining or varnishing
• Removing old paint or varnish layers
• Leveling edges and smoothing rough spots

Key specifications

• Size: 100 x 150 mm
• Abrasion grade: P 60 (medium-coarse grit)
• Backing: hook and loop (reusable attachment)
• Hole pattern: 9-hole for dust extraction
• Pack quantity: 10 sheets

How to use

Attach a sanding sheet to a compatible 100 x 150 mm hook-and-loop sanding pad by pressing the sheet onto the pad until it is securely fixed. Use the sheet on an orbital or palm sander with dust extraction engaged where possible to benefit from the nine-hole pattern. Move the sander evenly across the surface with light, consistent pressure; avoid concentrating on one area to prevent gouging. Replace sheets when the abrasive surface becomes clogged or worn to maintain consistent sanding performance.

Recommendations

For best results on wood, start with P 60 to remove material or existing finishes and then progress to finer grits for smoothing; always wear appropriate respiratory protection and eye protection, and use dust extraction if available to reduce airborne particles.
