Adaptateur câble vidéo ROLINE 12.03.3136

The ROLINE 12.03.3136 is a 0.15 m video cable adapter with a DisplayPort plug on one end and a DVI-D socket on the other, designed to connect devices with DisplayPort outputs to DVI-D monitors and projectors. Its compact white housing and short form factor make it suitable for installations where space is limited while maintaining digital video signal integrity for single-link DVI displays.

Advantages

This adapter provides a straightforward solution for converting a DisplayPort output to a DVI-D input without bulky cables. The short length reduces cable clutter behind desks and near equipment, and the sturdy housing offers reliable mechanical connection in desktop and AV rack environments. The adapter supports digital video transmission to DVI-D displays and is compatible with standard DisplayPort source devices and DVI-D sinks.

Suitable for

• Connecting a laptop or PC with DisplayPort to a DVI-D monitor
• Using a DisplayPort-equipped computer with projectors that accept DVI-D
• Space-constrained workstations and compact AV installations
• Temporary setups where a short, reliable adapter is required

Key specifications

• Connector A: DisplayPort (male)
• Connector B: DVI-D (female)
• Cable/adapter length: 0.15 m
• Signal type: digital video (DisplayPort to single-link DVI-D)
• Colour: White
• Form factor: compact inline adapter

How to use

Insert the DisplayPort plug into the source device’s DisplayPort output until it seats securely, then connect a DVI-D cable from the adapter’s DVI-D socket to the display. Ensure both devices are powered on and set the display input to the appropriate DVI channel. If the display does not receive a signal, check the connection seating and verify that the source device is configured to output video over DisplayPort. No driver installation is typically required for basic video passthrough.

Recommendations

For best results, use this adapter with displays that accept single-link DVI-D signals and keep cable runs short on both sides of the adapter. Avoid excessive bending at the connector junction and ensure a secure mechanical fit to prevent intermittent video. If you need audio or higher-resolution multi-link signals, consider a different interface or an active conversion solution.
