Adaptateur de câble DeLOCK 66296

The DeLOCK 66296 cable gender changer allows two DisplayPort connections to be joined directly, enabling a 90° angled orientation of the DisplayPort jack on one device. It has gold-plated contacts for reliable signal transmission and a black housing that integrates into most setups. This adapter is intended to change the connector gender or to alter the plug direction without affecting display signal quality.

Advantages

The adapter provides a compact solution to reroute a DisplayPort connection when space is limited, reducing stress on cables and ports by angling the connector. Gold-plated contacts improve conductivity and corrosion resistance, while the male-to-female DisplayPort interface preserves the original signal characteristics.

Suitable for

• Connecting two DisplayPort cables or devices with incompatible genders
• Orienting a DisplayPort port at 90° to save space behind equipment
• Temporary or permanent adaptations in tight AV or PC setups

How to use

Insert the adapter into the DisplayPort jack of the device where a 90° orientation is required, then connect the DisplayPort cable to the adapter’s opposite side. Ensure connectors are aligned and fully seated to maintain a secure electrical and mechanical connection. Remove the adapter by pulling straight out from the connector to avoid bending the cable.

Recommendations

For best results, use the adapter with standard DisplayPort cables and avoid applying excessive force or torque to the connector. Inspect connections periodically for dust or damage and replace the adapter if contacts appear corroded or worn.
