Adaptateur de câble EFB Elektronik EB415

The EFB Elektronik EB415 is a compact metallic D-Sub 25 cable gender changer that allows conversion between male and female D-Sub 25 connectors. Designed for space-saving inline use, it provides a reliable mechanical connection for serial and parallel interfaces and enables direct coupling of two cables or adapters with D-Sub 25 terminations.

Advantages

The EB415 offers a sturdy metal shell for mechanical protection and improved shielding, straightforward gender conversion between D-Sub 25 plug and jack, and a compact form factor that occupies minimal space. It supports stable physical connections for serial and parallel data cabling without adding active electronics.

Suitable for

• Converting D-Sub 25 male to female connections
• Joining two D-Sub 25 cables
• Temporary or permanent inline connections for serial (RS-232/parallel) equipment
• Legacy computer and industrial interfaces that use DB-25 connectors

How to use

Align the DB-25 connector pins and sockets, then push the gender changer onto the cable or device connector until the mating faces are fully engaged. If the connectors have thumbscrews, tighten them by hand to secure the connection. Use the adapter inline between two DB-25 terminated cables or between a cable and a device to change connector gender as required.

Recommendations

For best results, use the EB415 in low-tension installations where mechanical strain on connectors is minimized; avoid subjecting the adapter to heavy pulling or twisting forces. Verify pinout compatibility for your specific serial or parallel application before connecting equipment.
