Adaptateur fibre optique SC duplex Multimode OM3 ACT EA3003

The ACT Fiber optic SC duplex adapter multimode OM3 EA3003 connects two SC duplex multimode fiber connectors to enable reliable high-speed data transmission. Made with zirconia (ZrO2) sleeve technology and specified insertion loss of ≤ 0.2 dB, the adapter is suitable for OM3 multimode networks. Its black and cyan colour scheme matches standard multimode cabling and the compact form factor allows easy installation in patch panels, wall plates or equipment panels.

Advantages

The SC duplex adapter uses zirconia ZrO2 alignment sleeves for precise fiber alignment and low insertion loss (≤ 0.2 dB). It is manufactured to fit standard SC duplex multimode connectors and provides a stable, low-loss connection in OM3 networks. The compact, durable housing and industry-standard colour coding simplify installation and maintenance.

Suitable for

• Connecting SC duplex multimode cables in OM3 data and telecom networks
• Patch panels and rack-mounted equipment
• Wall plates and faceplates in premises cabling

Key specifications

• Connector type: SC duplex
• Fiber type: Multimode OM3
• Alignment sleeve material: Zirconia (ZrO2)
• Maximum insertion loss: ≤ 0.2 dB
• Colour: Black and aqua (cyan)

How to use

Ensure both fiber ends are clean and free of dust before connection. Insert SC duplex connectors into the adapter until they click into place, verifying secure seating. For maintenance, disconnect by pressing the connector latch and gently withdrawing the connector. Replace the adapter if physical damage or persistent high loss is detected.

Recommendations

Use appropriate fiber cleaning tools before mating connectors and perform loss testing after installation to confirm insertion loss remains within specification (≤ 0.2 dB).
