Antenne directionnelle DeLOCK 88447

The DeLOCK 88447 is a directional WLAN antenna designed for devices with an RP-SMA connector. It operates across the 2.4–5.8 GHz frequency range, supports IEEE 802.11 b/g/n standards and provides a 7 dBi gain to improve wireless signal strength and quality. The antenna has vertical polarization and compact dimensions (90 × 13 × 120 mm), making it suitable for indoor and small-scale networking setups.

Advantages

This directional antenna increases signal range and focus compared with omnidirectional antennas, which can result in more stable connections and improved throughput for compatible WLAN devices. Its RP-SMA connector ensures straightforward attachment to routers, access points or client devices that use the same connector type. The compact black housing allows installation where space is limited.

How to use

Connect the DeLOCK 88447 antenna to the RP‑SMA port of your WLAN device by aligning and screwing the connector securely. Aim the antenna in the direction where improved coverage is needed to take advantage of its directional properties. After installation, check device settings and perform a site survey or speed test to verify improved reception and adjust orientation if necessary.

Recommendations

Use the antenna outdoors only if the device and connector are suitably protected from weather. For optimal results, place the antenna away from large metal objects and sources of interference; adjust direction incrementally while testing signal strength to find the best alignment.
