Antenne omnidirectionnelle DeLOCK 12637

The DeLOCK 12637 omni-directional antenna is designed to extend and stabilise wireless LAN signals for devices with an RP-SMA interface. With a 5 dBi gain and operation in the 5.15–5.85 GHz band, it is compatible with IEEE 802.11a, 802.11ac and 802.11ax standards to support high-speed Wi‑Fi connections in homes or offices.

Advantages

This antenna provides a moderate 5 dBi gain for improved signal reach and more consistent coverage. Its omni-directional radiation pattern distributes signal evenly around the installation point, while the RP-SMA connector ensures compatibility with many routers, access points and client devices. Linear polarization and support for 5 GHz Wi‑Fi standards enable higher throughput and reduced interference compared with lower-frequency solutions.

Suitable for

• Extending Wi‑Fi coverage in apartments, houses and small offices
• Enhancing signal quality for routers, access points and repeaters with RP‑SMA ports
• Use with devices operating on 5.15–5.85 GHz (IEEE 802.11a/ac/ax)

Key specifications

• Model: DeLOCK 12637
• Antenna gain: 5 dBi (max)
• Frequency band: 5.15 – 5.85 GHz
• Connector: RP‑SMA
• Polarization: Linear
• Colour: Black
• Supported standards: IEEE 802.11a, 802.11ac, 802.11ax

How to use

Attach the antenna to a compatible device using the RP‑SMA connector and position it vertically for omnidirectional coverage. Place the antenna at a central location or elevated position to maximise coverage area. After connection, verify device wireless settings and perform signal tests to confirm improved coverage and throughput.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, install the antenna away from large metal objects and sources of interference (microwaves, cordless phones). Aim for a clear line of sight where possible and ensure the RP‑SMA connection is tightened securely but not over‑torqued.
