Antenne omnidirectionnelle DeLOCK 89438

The DeLOCK 89438 is an omni-directional WLAN antenna with an SMA male connector, designed to send and receive dual-band wireless signals in the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz ranges. It supports IEEE 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac standards and offers a maximum gain of 5 dBi. Compact in size (195 mm height, 1.25 cm diameter) and finished in gold and black, the antenna is intended for easy installation on devices with an SMA interface to improve wireless network performance.

Advantages

The omni-directional design provides uniform coverage around the antenna, while compatibility with IEEE 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac ensures use with a wide range of Wi‑Fi equipment. The SMA male connector enables straightforward attachment to devices that feature an SMA female port. With 5 dBi gain the antenna balances improved signal reach and compact dimensions, making it suitable for many indoor and some outdoor applications where a discreet antenna is required.

How to use

Attach the antenna by screwing the SMA male connector into the SMA female socket of the device until secure; avoid over-tightening. Position the antenna vertically for typical omni-directional coverage. For best results, place the device in a central, elevated location free from large metal obstructions and away from other electronic equipment that can cause interference.

Recommendations

For improved network performance, test antenna placement and orientation, and verify firmware and radio settings on your device (channel, bandwidth, and transmit power). If used outdoors, ensure the connector and mounting area are protected from moisture and severe weather.
