Armoire murale EFB Elektronik 691712VGR.40

The EFB Elektronik 691712VGR.40 wall mounted rack is a 12U, 19" network cabinet designed to save floor space while providing a secure mounting solution for networking equipment. With external dimensions of 600 mm width, 400 mm depth and 600 mm height, the rack supports a maximum load of 50 kg and is finished in grey. An integrated key lock secures installed devices and the IP20 protection rating guards against intrusion by solid objects larger than 12 mm, making the unit appropriate for controlled indoor environments such as offices, server rooms and telecommunications closets.

Advantages

The compact 12U design allows efficient use of vertical wall space where floor-mounted cabinets are impractical. A keyed lock provides basic physical security to deter casual access. The cabinet's 19" compatibility ensures straightforward installation of standard rack-mount servers, switches and patch panels. Constructed to hold up to 50 kg, the rack balances structural stability with a lightweight footprint suitable for most light- to medium-density network deployments. The grey finish offers a neutral appearance that integrates into a variety of professional and home settings.

Suitable for

• Small office network switches and patch panels
• Home lab or server installations with limited floor space
• Telecom closets and network termination points
• Surveillance DVRs/NVRs and small security appliance mounting

How to use

Mount the rack securely to a suitable load-bearing wall using appropriate anchors and fasteners rated for the anticipated total load including installed equipment. Install 19" rack-mount devices onto the internal mounting rails, aligning devices with rack unit markings and using compatible screws and cage nuts where required. Route power and network cabling through the cabinet openings while maintaining proper ventilation and avoiding cable obstruction of airflow paths. Lock the front door with the supplied key when access is not required.

Recommendations

Position the rack in a dry, temperature-controlled indoor location away from direct heat sources and excessive dust. Do not exceed the 50 kg maximum load; distribute weight evenly across the mounting rails and secure heavy devices close to the wall for better stability. Ensure access for cable management and maintenance and consider additional ventilation or active cooling if populated with multiple heat-generating devices.
