The compact footprint and discreet styling support versatile installation options, including mounting into desks, cabinets or beneath worktops.

How to use

Install the outlet box according to the mounting instructions, ensuring the unit is secured in the chosen location and connected to a correctly rated mains supply by a qualified electrician if required by local regulations. Once installed and powered, plug devices directly into the available sockets. Observe the maximum load rating of the unit when connecting multiple appliances, and avoid overloading a single circuit. Regularly inspect the housing and cable entry for signs of damage and keep the area around the unit clear of obstructions to maintain ventilation.

Recommendations

Use the Bachmann aluminium outlet box to centralise power for desktop equipment and audiovisual setups. Avoid connecting high-power appliances that exceed the outlet box’s rated load, and consider additional surge protection or UPS systems for sensitive electronics. Schedule periodic checks of the surge protection functionality and replace the unit if protective elements are compromised.
