Câble audio TOSLINK ShiverPeaks BS69014-0.5

The ShiverPeaks BS69014-0.5 is a 0.5 m audio cable designed to connect devices with an optical TOSLINK output to equipment with a 3.5 mm optical/mini-TOSLINK input. The cable features a compact form factor and a black finish that fits into home audio setups and portable systems. Gold-plated contacts are used to improve contact reliability and reduce corrosion, supporting consistent digital audio transmission for short-distance connections.

Advantages

This audio cable combines an optical TOSLINK male connector on one end with a 3.5 mm male connector on the other, providing a straightforward compatible link between devices that use different optical connector formats. The short 0.5 m length reduces signal attenuation and clutter in close-proximity setups. Gold-plated contacts enhance durability and ensure stable connection performance over repeated insertions and removals. The black outer jacket offers a neutral appearance that integrates with most audio components.

Suitable for

• Connecting TVs, soundbars or CD players with TOSLINK outputs to portable DACs or headphone amplifiers with 3.5 mm optical inputs
• Short-distance digital audio connections in desktop or home theater systems
• Use in setups where a compact, low-profile cable is required to avoid excess cable loops

Key specifications

• Cable length: 0.5 m
• Connector A: TOSLINK male (optical)
• Connector B: 3.5 mm male (mini-TOSLINK optical)
• Contacts: gold-plated
• Color: black
• Signal type: digital optical audio

How to use

Align the TOSLINK male connector with the optical output on your source device and insert gently until it seats firmly. Align the 3.5 mm male connector with the optical input on the destination device and insert fully. Avoid forcing connectors; optical plugs are keyed and will align only in the correct orientation. For best performance, keep the cable straight and avoid tight bends near the connector ends that could obstruct the optical path.

Recommendations

Use this short optical cable for direct, short-range connections where minimal signal loss and neat cable management are priorities. Store the cable without sharp bends and disconnect by pulling the connector housing rather than the cable jacket to preserve connector integrity.
