Câble fibre optique DeLOCK 85689 2 m LC vert

The DeLOCK 85689 is a 2 m OM5 fibre optic cable with LC connectors on both ends, designed for high-speed data transmission in data centres and high-performance computing environments. The cable has a 50 µm core diameter and a green jacket for easy identification. Both fibres share a single outer sheath and boot for space-efficient routing and neat cable management.

Advantages

This LC–LC OM5 cable provides duplex connectivity with a compact design and an integrated extractor lever that simplifies removal from high-density panels. The single-sheath construction reduces bulk and simplifies installation in cable trays and racks. Colour coding assists in quick identification during installation and maintenance.

Suitable for

• Connecting an SFP-enabled NIC to a switch
• Linking transceivers and media converters
• Short-distance high-speed links inside data centres and server rooms

How to use

Inspect connectors for contamination and clean if necessary before connection. Align each LC connector with the corresponding socket on the SFP module, switch or media converter and insert until it clicks. Use the extractor lever to disengage the connector when removing from high-density panels. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and follow rack or tray guidelines for bend radius and strain relief.

Recommendations

Use this OM5 LC–LC duplex cable for short-range, high-bandwidth links within racks or between closely placed network devices. Maintain proper bend radius, keep connectors clean, and label the green cable for easy identification in multi-fibre installations.
