Câble fibre optique DeLOCK 85690 3 m LC vert

The DeLOCK 85690 is a 3 m OM5 fibre optic cable with LC connectors on both ends. Designed for high-speed data transmission, the cable has a 50 µm core diameter and a green outer jacket for easy identification. Both fibres are combined within a single sheath and boot to save space, and the integrated extractor lever facilitates unplugging from high-density panels.

Advantages

The cable supports OM5 multimode transmission with a 50 µm core, offers a compact dual-fibre design under one sheath for space efficiency, and includes an extractor lever to simplify removal from dense connector panels. The LC-to-LC connectors on both ends provide standard compatibility with networking equipment that uses LC interfaces.

Suitable for

• Interconnecting NICs with SFP modules and network switches
• Linking media converters to fibre networks
• Data centre cabling and high-performance computing environments
• Patch panels and high-density fibre installations

Key specifications

How to use

Ensure both network devices support LC multimode fibre connections. Align the LC connector keyed sides with the device ports and insert until the latch engages. To disconnect, press the extractor lever and pull the connector straight out to avoid damaging the fibre or port. Route the cable to avoid tight bends and secure it to prevent strain on the connectors.

Recommendations

Use this OM5 LC–LC cable for short- to medium-range multimode links within data centres and network racks, avoid bending below the minimum bend radius, and keep connector endfaces clean to maintain signal quality.
