Câble fibre optique EFB Elektronik O7013.20 20 m ST turquoise

The EFB Elektronik O7013.20 is a 20 m OM3 fibre optic cable with ST connectors on both ends and a 50 µm core diameter. It serves as a short, defined link in structured cabling according to ISO/IEC 11801, providing a point-to-point connection between passive ports and active network equipment or between two active network ports. The cable is suitable for high-speed networking and data centre applications where OM3 multimode performance is required.

Advantages

The cable features aramid yarn-reinforced strain relief and a halogen-free, flame-retardant jacket compliant with IEC-60754-2, IEC-60332-1 and IEC-61034. EFB connectors meet minimum quality classes (Grade B/2 for singlemode and Grade A/1 for multimode according to IEC-61753-1 and IEC-61753-222-2 draft). Each unit is 100% tested and delivered with an individual test report.

Suitable for (tasks / use cases)

• OM3 multimode fibre connections in data centre and server rooms
• Patch connections between passive panels and active network devices
• Short-range high-speed links within structured cabling systems

How to use

Connect one ST connector to the active network device or patch panel port and the other ST connector to the corresponding passive or active port. Route the cable following the structured cabling layout, avoiding sharp bends and mechanical stress to maintain OM3 performance. Ensure connectors are clean before mating to prevent signal loss.

Recommendations

For reliable performance, keep bend radius above the manufacturer’s minimum, avoid exposing the cable to mechanical strain, and store spare cables in a dry, dust-free environment. Use proper cleaning tools for ST connectors prior to installation.
