Câble optique numérique TosLink SPDIF Lindy 0,5 m

Digital Optical Cable Lindy 0.5m TosLink SPDIF with male TosLink connectors on both ends provides lossless digital audio transmission over a 0.5 m black fibre optic cable. The cable is compatible with Dolby Digital and DTS surround receivers, DVD and MD players, DAT and MP3 recorders, professional audio interfaces and satellite receivers that use the TosLink/SPDIF interface. The protective shell and 2.2 mm outer diameter ensure a compact, durable connection that is immune to electrical interference.

Advantages

The Lindy 0.5m TosLink SPDIF cable delivers crystal-clear digital audio by using fibre optic transmission, avoiding ground loops and electrical noise. Its male-to-male TosLink connectors provide a secure fit with standard SPDIF/TosLink ports, and the small outer diameter and protective shell make it suitable for tight routing and reliable long-term use. A dust cap is supplied on each end to protect the connectors during storage and transport.

Suitable for

• Connecting AV receivers (Dolby Digital, DTS) to CD/DVD/MD players
• Digital connections between audio interfaces, AD/DA converters and DAW setups
• Linking satellite receivers and home theatre components
• Recording devices using SPDIF/TosLink inputs (MP3, DAT, recorders)

How to use

Before installation remove the protective dust caps from both TosLink connectors. Insert each male TosLink connector firmly into the corresponding SPDIF/TosLink socket on your source and destination devices until it seats. Route the fibre optic cable without tight bends; avoid kinking and sharp edges to maintain optical performance. No electrical grounding is required because the cable transmits via light.

Recommendations

Use this 0.5 m Lindy TosLink cable for short inter-device connections where a reliable, interference-free digital audio link is required. Avoid bending radii smaller than the cable's recommended curvature and store with the dust caps fitted when not in use to protect the connectors.
