Câble patch Cat.6 S/FTP EXERTIS CONNECT, PiMF, jaune, 20 m 856927

For network technicians and office administrators running Gigabit Ethernet over longer distances, this 20-metre yellow Cat.6 patch cable delivers reliable, high-speed connectivity with robust shielding. The S/FTP construction with PiMF (pairs in metal foil) and an overall braided shield minimises crosstalk and electromagnetic interference, making it suitable for environments with dense cabling or electrical noise. Slimline snagless boots protect the locking tabs during frequent moves, adds, and changes, while the LSZH jacket reduces toxic smoke and corrosive gases in the event of fire.

Key specifications

• Category: Cat.6
• Shielding: S/FTP (Screened/Foiled Twisted Pair) with PiMF
• Length: 20 m
• Colour: Yellow
• Connector: RJ45 male to RJ45 male, gold-plated
• Jacket: LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen)
• Conductor: Copper, 27 AWG, stranded
• Bandwidth: 250 MHz
• Data rate: 1 Gbps (10/100/1000Base-T)
• Wiring: TIA/EIA 568B

Why choose it

The combination of individual pair shielding and overall braid ensures superior signal integrity over longer runs. The slimline boot design allows easy insertion and removal in high-density patch panels, while the LSZH jacket meets strict fire safety requirements for public buildings.

Ideal use cases

• Office LAN connections between patch panels and workstations
• Data centre cabling where electromagnetic interference is a concern
• Longer runs in structured cabling systems

Good to know

Backward compatible with Cat.5e and Cat.5 networks. The stranded conductors provide flexibility for frequent handling, and the yellow colour aids in identification and organisation.
