Câble patch CAT 8.1 S/FTP Renkforce RF-7106496 RJ45, 5 m, blanc

For high-density data center racks or 40 Gigabit Ethernet workstation links, this 5-metre white patch cable keeps signal integrity intact even in electrically noisy environments. The S/FTP construction with individually foil-shielded pairs and an overall braid suppresses alien crosstalk, while gold-plated RJ45 plugs maintain clean contact over thousands of mating cycles.

Key specifications

• Category: CAT 8.1 (Class I) with up to 2000 MHz bandwidth
• Shielding: S/FTP (PIMF) – pairs in metal foil plus overall braid
• Length: 5.00 m
• Colour: White
• Connectors: RJ45 male to RJ45 male, gold-plated contacts
• Conductor: 8 copper wires (4 twisted pairs), 26 AWG
• Jacket: PVC, round cable
• Data rate: up to 40 Gbit/s (IEEE 802.3bq)
• Standards: TIA/EIA-568-B.2-10, ISO/IEC 11801

Why choose it

CAT 8.1 is the highest performance copper cabling for short-range 25G/40G Ethernet, and this cable is built to handle it. The S/FTP shielding prevents interference from adjacent cables and equipment, making it reliable for server-to-switch links, NAS connections, and high-throughput workstations. The white jacket blends into cable trays and patch panels, and the gold-plated connectors resist oxidation for long-term stability.

Ideal use cases

• Data centre top-of-rack switching (25G/40G)
• High-speed workstation to wall outlet
• Network-attached storage (NAS) with 10G+ interfaces
• Video editing or CAD environments with large file transfers

Good to know

CAT 8.1 is fully backward compatible with lower categories (Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6a, Cat7). The cable is supplied as a single piece (1 St.). For best performance, keep bend radius above 4 times the cable diameter and avoid sharp kinks. The PVC jacket is suitable for indoor use.
