Câble patch Digitus CAT 5e U/UTP DK-1512-050/Y 5 m jaune

The DIGITUS Patch Cord CAT 5e U/UTP DK-1512-050/Y is a 5 m yellow patch cable with RJ-45 connectors on both ends, designed to meet Category 5e (100 MHz) standards. Manufactured and tested to ISO/IEC 11801 and DIN EN 50173 Category 5e specifications, this cable ensures channel compliance and stable data transmission for home and office networks. The transparent blue colored plug helps identify Category 5e connectors, while molded boots provide kink protection, strain relief and a latch protector to reduce the risk of connector damage.

Advantages

This DIGITUS CAT 5e patch cord is tested up to 100 MHz and guarantees performance characteristics such as near end crosstalk (NEXT) in line with Category 5e requirements. The U/UTP construction and high-quality RJ-45 terminations provide reliable connectivity, and the molded boot with integrated strain relief and latch protection increases durability during repeated use. The yellow jacket allows quick visual identification and easier cable management.

Suitable for

• Connecting network devices in home and small office LANs
• Patch panels, switches and routers with RJ-45 ports
• Organizing and color-coding cable installations

How to use

Plug each RJ-45 connector into the corresponding ports of your networking devices (switch, router, patch panel or workstation). Ensure connectors latch securely and that the cable is routed to avoid sharp bends or physical stress. Use the yellow colour to match your site’s cabling scheme or to highlight a particular network segment.

Recommendations

For optimal performance maintain bend radius and avoid placing the cable near strong electromagnetic sources. Inspect the molded boots and latches periodically and replace the patch cord if any connector damage or performance degradation is observed.
