Câble patch QOLTEC 54528 2xRJ45 CAT5e 3 m noir

The QOLTEC 54528 patchcord cable is a CAT5e-rated network cable with two RJ45 connectors and a length of 3 meters. Designed for standard Ethernet connections, this black FTP patchcord provides shielded transmission to reduce electromagnetic interference and crosstalk. It suits typical home and office networking where reliable wired connectivity is required for computers, routers, switches and other networked devices.

Advantages

The FTP shielding offers improved protection against external interference compared with unshielded cables, supporting more consistent data transfer in electrically noisy environments. The CAT5e specification supports fast Ethernet and gigabit-capable links over shorter distances, while the 3 m length balances reach and cable management. The molded RJ45 connectors ensure a stable plug fit and simplified installation without additional termination work.

How to use

Insert each RJ45 connector into the corresponding network ports on your devices until the latch clicks to secure the connection. Ensure both ends are fully seated and test the link using device network indicators or a network tester. Route the cable to avoid tight bends and heavy compression; allow some slack near connectors to prevent strain. For organized installations, secure the cable with clips or cable ties at intervals without crushing the jacket or shield.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, avoid running the FTP cable in parallel with power lines for long distances and keep it away from strong electromagnetic sources. Use the cable within its specified temperature range and inspect connectors periodically for corrosion or damage. When higher bandwidth or future-proofing is required, consider upgrading to CAT6 or higher category cables.
