Câble Poly 2,5 mm vers QD 0,45 m — Poly 85Q30AA

Poly 2.5 mm to QD cable, model 85Q30AA, 0.45 m length, is an accessory cable that connects devices with a 2.5 mm audio jack to headsets or audio modules featuring a Quick Disconnect (QD) connector. The cable is intended for use with Poly communication headsets and systems that support QD terminations, providing a compact, low-profile link between desk phones, handset adapters or inline controls and QD-equipped headsets in office and contact centre environments.

Advantages

This 0.45 m Poly cable offers a short, manageable length that reduces desk clutter while maintaining reliable audio connections. The QD termination enables fast, tool-free detachment and replacement of compatible headsets, simplifying headset sharing and maintenance. The 2.5 mm plug provides broad compatibility with telephony devices and adapters that use that jack size, and the cable construction supports consistent signal transmission for voice communications.

Suitable for

• Office desk phones and telephone handsets with 2.5 mm audio jacks
• Contact centre headsets and agents who need quick disconnect capability
• Unified communications setups where Poly QD headsets are used
• Situations requiring a short, tidy cable between desk hardware and headset

Key specifications

• Cable type: 2.5 mm digital/audio plug to Quick Disconnect (QD) connector
• Length: 0.45 m
• Connector A: 2.5 mm audio jack (straight plug)
• Connector B: QD headset connector compatible with Poly QD interfaces
• Intended use: voice/audio signal transmission for headsets and telephony

How to use

Insert the 2.5 mm plug into the corresponding jack on a desk phone, handset adapter or inline control. Attach the QD end to a compatible Poly headset until it clicks into place; the quick disconnect makes removal straightforward — press the release mechanism and separate the connectors. Use the cable in a straight, untwisted configuration to avoid stress on connectors and ensure stable audio performance.

Recommendations

To prolong service life and maintain audio quality, avoid sharp bends near the connectors, keep the cable away from sources of mechanical strain, and disconnect using the QD release rather than pulling on the cable. Verify compatibility with your specific Poly headset or telephony adapter before use.
