Align the 7-pin SATA connector with the device and motherboard SATA ports and insert gently until it clicks into place. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and secure inside the case to prevent strain. Close the case and power on the system to verify device detection in BIOS/UEFI or the operating system.

Recommendations

Use the cable for internal connections only. Avoid excessive bending or pulling and keep connectors free of dust. For optimal signal integrity, keep cable length appropriate for your case layout and maintain proper grounding of the PC chassis.
