Câble USB e+p CC 518 USB 2.0 3 m Gris

The e+p CC 518 USB 2.0 cable is a 3-metre grey extension cable with male-to-female USB connectors designed for data transfer and device charging. Its extended length provides flexibility in positioning devices while maintaining USB 2.0 transfer rates. The neutral grey jacket and slim connector housings suit both home and office setups where extra reach or a tidy cable run is needed.

Advantages

This USB cable offers extended reach without altering the standard USB 2.0 connection profile, enabling convenient placement of peripherals and devices. The male-to-female configuration allows simple extension of existing cables or relocation of devices without moving the host equipment. Its 3-metre length reduces the need for temporary setups or stretched cables, while the grey outer sheath minimizes visual contrast with common electronic equipment.

Suitable for

• Extending USB 2.0 connections for printers, scanners and external drives
• Connecting charging adapters to devices located further from power sources
• Temporary or permanent cable routing in home and office workstations
• Using with hubs and extension setups where a male-to-female link is required

Key specifications

• Cable type: USB 2.0 extension, male-to-female
• Length: 3 metres
• Colour: Grey
• Supported functions: Data transfer and device charging (per USB 2.0 capabilities)
• Connector orientation: Standard USB A male to USB A female

How to use

Insert the male USB A connector of the e+p CC 518 into the host device or existing USB cable, then plug the peripheral or device into the female end. Ensure connectors are fully seated to maintain a stable data and power connection. The cable follows standard USB 2.0 signaling: for high data throughput, connect devices capable of USB 2.0 speeds and avoid chaining multiple passive extensions where signal degradation may occur.

Recommendations

For reliable performance, avoid bending the cable sharply near the connectors and keep it away from strong electromagnetic sources. If using the cable for power-hungry devices, verify the power output of the upstream host or adapter; for sustained high-current charging, use a direct connection to a powered USB port or a dedicated charging cable that matches device requirements.
