Cheville Fischer S 14

The Fischer Expansion Plug S 14 is a rimless nylon anchor designed for reliable fixing in solid building materials such as concrete and masonry. Made entirely of high-quality nylon and supplied in grey, the plug measures 75 mm in length and requires a drill hole diameter of 14 mm with a minimum drill hole depth of 90 mm. Packs contain 20 pieces and are intended for securing items such as picture frames, lights, lightweight wall cabinets and electrical installations.

Advantages

The expansion plug is manufactured from durable nylon, offering robustness during installation and long-term safety. Its two-directional expansion can be oriented by turning the plug so that expansion forces run parallel to the edge of the base material, reducing the risk of spalling when fixing close to edges. The rimless design allows both pre-positioned and push-through installation, and an anti-rotation lock prevents the plug from turning in the drill hole for safer assembly.

Suitable for

• Fixing in solid building materials (concrete, solid masonry)
• Mounting picture frames and lights
• Securing lightweight wall cabinets
• Electrical installations and service boxes

How to use

Drill a 14 mm diameter hole to at least 90 mm depth in the solid substrate. Clean the hole of dust and debris, position the plug either pre-set or push it through the fixture, then insert the appropriate screw until the plug expands and secures the fixture. Turn the plug before inserting the screw if you need to orient the expansion forces parallel to an edge to minimise spalling.

Recommendations

Use the Fischer S 14 in solid substrates only. Select the correct screw length to allow full expansion of the plug while maintaining required load capacity. Avoid use in hollow or weak materials where a specialised anchor is required.
