Clé Allen en L Wera 05021728001

L-shaped hex key Wera 05021728001 is a 13-piece metric L-key set designed for secure and precise work on hexagonal socket screws. The keys feature a Hex-Plus profile that increases contact area in the screw head to minimise notching and reduce the risk of damaging the screw recess. A ball-end on the long arm enables access at angles in confined or difficult installation situations. The set is supplied in a practical clip fastener made of wear-resistant material for secure storage and easy removal of the keys. BlackLaser surface treatment improves corrosion protection and prolongs tool life, and laser-engraved size markings are wear-resistant for quick identification.

Advantages

The Hex-Plus profile offers a larger contact surface inside the screw head, which reduces rounding and the likelihood of damaging fasteners. The ball-end on the long arm allows angled access to screws without compromising engagement. BlackLaser surface treatment provides enhanced surface protection and corrosion resistance, extending service life. The clip fastener keeps all 13 metric L-keys organised and allows simple removal, while laser-engraved size markings remain legible over time.

Suitable for

• Assembly and disassembly of machines and equipment with metric hex socket screws
• Maintenance and repair tasks in workshops and service vehicles
• DIY projects that require precise torque application to hex screws
• Work in confined spaces where angled access is necessary

How to use

Select the correct metric L-key size by checking the laser-engraved marking. Insert the short or long arm of the L-key into the hexagonal socket, depending on required leverage and access angle. For angled access use the ball-end on the long arm, and apply steady torque while maintaining full engagement between key and screw head. Return keys to the clip fastener after use to keep the set organised and protect the tools from wear.

Recommendations

Use the correct key size to avoid damaging screw recesses; avoid applying excessive torque beyond the screw or tool rating. Store the set in its clip fastener and keep the tools clean and dry to maintain the BlackLaser surface protection.
