Connect TC22 Noir Marmitek 08129

The Marmitek Connect TC22 Black (08129) converts between Toslink (optical) and digital coaxial audio signals in both directions, allowing devices with different digital audio outputs and inputs to be connected. It reproduces the provided digital audio signal simultaneously on both outputs and supports common 2.0 to 5.1 channel digital audio formats. The unit also amplifies the digital signal, which can extend the usable cable length for either optical or coaxial connections.

Advantages

Two-way conversion makes it possible to use either an optical (Toslink) or a coaxial SPDIF connection depending on which interface is available. The Connect TC22 amplifies the digital audio signal to help maintain signal integrity over longer cable runs. It supports the most common multi-channel digital audio formats and outputs the same digital signal on both Toslink and coaxial simultaneously, simplifying compatibility between source and amplifier.

How to use

Connect the digital audio output of your source device to the corresponding input on the Connect TC22 (either Toslink or coaxial). Connect the output from the Connect TC22 to the digital input of your amplifier or receiver (the device will provide the converted signal on both Toslink and coaxial outputs). Power the unit if required by the model and verify audio signal and format compatibility on your devices.

Recommendations

Use high-quality Toslink or coaxial SPDIF cables and ensure connectors are fully seated. If you experience signal dropouts over long runs, check cable integrity and consider shorter or better-shielded coaxial cables for improved reliability.
