Connecteur coaxial type F ShiverPeaks BS85300

The ShiverPeaks BS85300 F-type coaxial connector is a compact adapter designed to join two F-type coaxial cables or devices. Intended for audio and video signal connections, this single-piece adapter provides a straightforward way to extend coaxial runs or connect equipment with F-type terminations. Its simple form factor makes it suitable for residential and light commercial AV setups where reliable RF signal continuity is required.

Advantages

This F-to-F coaxial connector offers a direct and user-friendly connection without tools or complex installation. The metal housing and standard threaded F interfaces ensure consistent electrical contact and signal transmission for TV, satellite and other RF applications. Supplied as a single piece per pack, it is convenient for replacing or extending existing coaxial lines and maintains signal integrity when used with properly prepared coaxial cables.

Suitable for

• Extending or joining coaxial TV antenna cables
• Connecting satellite receiver leads
• Linking set-top boxes, modems or RF distribution equipment with F-type ports
• Temporary or permanent in-wall and behind-equipment cable joins (where local codes allow)

Key specifications

• Connector type: F to F
• Form factor: Inline coaxial adapter
• Units per pack: 1 piece
• Intended signal: RF for audio/video and terrestrial/satellite applications
• Material: metal threaded body for threaded F connections

How to use

To use the connector, align the male F-type threaded end of a coaxial cable or device with one side of the adapter and rotate clockwise until hand-tight. Repeat the procedure on the other side to complete the connection. Avoid over-tightening; secure connections by hand or with a properly sized coaxial wrench if necessary. Ensure cable terminations are clean and correctly prepared to minimize signal loss.

Recommendations

For best performance, use this adapter with well-prepared RG6 or similar coaxial cables and avoid chaining multiple adapters in series. If installing in-wall, follow local electrical and building codes and consider using a wall plate or a purpose-made in-wall rated coupler.
