Connecteur de câble BNC EFB Elektronik 52583.1

The EFB Elektronik 52583.1 is a male BNC wire connector finished in silver, designed for reliable electrical and signal connections in a range of electronic and measurement applications. This single-piece connector provides a compact mechanical and electrical interface that supports stable transmission of analog and digital signals where a bayonet-style BNC coupling is required.

Advantages

This male BNC wire connector features a metal housing and precision contacts that ensure consistent contact resistance and long-term mechanical stability. Its silver finish improves corrosion resistance and electrical conductivity. The compact design enables easy installation in confined spaces and supports frequent mate/unmate cycles without degradation of signal quality.

Suitable for

• Laboratory test and measurement instruments
• Audio-visual equipment and broadcast systems
• CCTV and security camera cabling
• Prototyping and repair of electronic devices

Key specifications

• Connector type: male BNC (bayonet coupling)
• Finish: silver-colored metal housing
• Contact material: metal with conductive plating for low contact resistance
• Number of pieces per pack: 1
• Mounting: cable-mounted (wire connector)
• Typical use: coaxial signal transmission for analog and digital signals

How to use

Prepare the coaxial cable by stripping the outer jacket, braid, and dielectric to the recommended dimensions for a standard BNC termination. Insert the conductor and assemble the connector according to the manufacturer's mechanical fit: ensure the central pin makes solid contact with the inner conductor and that the outer shell engages the cable braid or shield. Secure the connector using the specified crimping or soldering method for the chosen variant, then test continuity and signal integrity before placing the cable into service.

Recommendations

Use appropriate tools for stripping and crimping to avoid damage to the contact surfaces. For best signal performance, maintain proper cable impedance matching and minimize cable bending near the connector. Inspect connectors periodically for corrosion or mechanical wear, and replace if contact resistance increases or if the bayonet coupling becomes loose.
