How to use

Place the HSM SECURIO C18 on a stable, level surface and ensure the power connection matches the local supply. Feed paper into the working slot aligned within the 23 cm width; do not overload beyond the recommended capacity indicated by the manufacturer documentation. Switch the unit on and allow it to reach ready state before inserting sheets. After shredding, switch the device off and empty the waste container according to local waste disposal regulations. Follow safety labels on the product to avoid inserting non-paper items unless specified by the manufacturer.

Recommendations

For consistent performance, avoid continuous operation beyond the duty cycle specified in the product manual and allow the motor to cool between extended shredding sessions. Keep hands, ties and loose clothing away from the feed opening and remove staples or paper clips only if the manufacturer’s guidance requires it. Regularly check and empty the waste container to prevent jams and maintain quiet operation.
