The Brennenstuhl 1127030 wall-mounted reel is a manual hose reel designed for organised storage and convenient handling of a garden hose. It comes with a 20 m long hose with a 1.5 cm diameter, mounted on a fixed bracket for secure attachment to walls or other stable surfaces. The unit is intended for watering and general garden use, combining a compact footprint with durable materials to reduce kinks and tangles while keeping the hose accessible when needed.

Advantages

The wall-mounted reel provides a straightforward mechanical solution for hose management, reducing time spent winding and unwinding. Its construction supports steady rotation and stable mounting, which helps prevent accidental detachment or sagging. The supplied hose length and diameter are matched to common garden watering needs, offering a balance between water flow and reach. Materials and design focus on practical durability for outdoor conditions and ease of maintenance.

Suitable for

• Washing patios, driveways and outdoor furniture
• Supplying water to small vegetable plots and containers
• Temporary water access for outdoor cleaning tasks

Key specifications

• Mounting type: wall-mounted bracket for fixed installation
• Hose length: 20 m
• Hose diameter: 1.5 cm (approx. 15 mm)
• Operation: manual winding reel
• Intended use: garden watering and outdoor water tasks
• Construction: sturdy reel body designed for outdoor use

How to use

Install the reel on a suitable vertical surface using appropriate fasteners for the wall material, ensuring the mounting bracket is level and securely anchored. Connect the hose inlet to a water tap and route the hose along the reel drum. Pull out the required length of hose for watering, secure any required nozzle or sprinkler, and open the water supply. After use, turn off the water, drain excess water from the hose if freezing temperatures are expected, and wind the hose back onto the reel by rotating the crank or drum as provided, keeping the hose evenly distributed across the reel.

Recommendations

Mount the reel at a comfortable working height and avoid exposing the hose to prolonged direct sunlight when not in use. During winter or freezing conditions, disconnect and store the hose indoors or fully drain it to prevent damage. Periodically inspect connections and the reel mounting for wear or corrosion, tighten fasteners if necessary, and clean the reel housing to maintain smooth operation.
