Ensemble de forets Bosch 2 607 010 538

The Bosch 2 607 010 538 drill bit set is a 13-piece Robust Line collection of HSS-G metal drill bits with a 135° split point. Designed for precision drilling in metal, the set offers durable construction for long-lasting performance and compatibility with standard drill chucks. Suitable for professional and DIY use, the set provides clean, accurate holes in a range of metalworking tasks.

Advantages

The HSS-G material provides good wear resistance and heat tolerance for metal drilling. The 135° split point reduces walking at the start of drilling and improves centring on flat metal surfaces. The 13-piece assortment covers common diameters for flexibility across different drilling tasks. Compatibility with standard chucks ensures easy use with most drills.

Suitable for

• Drilling in steel and other ferrous metals
• Precision metalworking and fabrication
• Repair, maintenance, and DIY metal projects

How to use

Select the drill bit diameter appropriate for the hole required and secure it in a standard drill chuck. Mark and centre the drilling point on the workpiece, use a pilot mark or centre punch if needed to prevent slipping, and start drilling at low speed to establish the hole. Increase speed as appropriate for the metal and bit size, apply steady pressure, and use cutting fluid or lubricant when drilling harder metals to reduce heat and extend bit life. Retract occasionally to remove chips and avoid overheating.

Recommendations

For best results, use the Bosch Robust Line HSS-G bits with a drill that allows variable speed control and apply cutting fluid when drilling thicker or harder metals. Store the set in a dry place and inspect bits for wear; replace worn bits to maintain hole quality and safety.
