Foret Bosch 2 608 690 010

The Bosch 2 608 690 010 drill bit is designed for use in rotary hammers and has a diameter of 1.3 cm and a length of 58 mm. Manufactured to Bosch quality standards, this single drill bit provides a balance of rigidity and cutting performance suitable for heavy-duty drilling operations. It is intended for applications where a compact, robust drill bit is required to create precise holes in construction and renovation tasks.

Advantages

This drill bit offers high dimensional accuracy and consistent tip geometry to ensure straight drilling and reduced deflection. The material composition and heat treatment provide wear resistance and a longer service life under repetitive use. The shaft and flute design facilitate efficient debris removal during rotary hammer action, improving drilling speed and reducing clogging. Compatibility with standard rotary-hammer chucks ensures quick installation and secure seating.

Key specifications

How to use

Fit the drill bit into a compatible rotary hammer chuck according to the tool manufacturer’s instructions and ensure it is locked securely before starting. Mark the drilling point, start at low speed to establish the position, then apply steady pressure while operating the rotary hammer function for effective penetration. Withdraw the bit periodically to clear debris and to avoid overheating; allow the bit to cool during prolonged use.

Recommendations

Use appropriate personal protective equipment such as eye protection, gloves and hearing protection when operating a rotary hammer. Match the drill bit diameter and length to the fixing or anchor specifications. For optimal life and performance, avoid excessive lateral pressure, use correct rotation and hammer settings, and replace the bit if the tip shows significant wear or damage.
