Foret Bosch 2 609 255 287 1 pièce

The Bosch 2609255287 drill bit is a single precision bit with a 2.5 cm diameter and 90 mm overall length designed for general-purpose drilling. Manufactured to Bosch quality standards, it is intended to provide consistent, accurate holes across a range of common building materials. The bit's geometry and robust construction support stable drilling performance and long service life when used at appropriate speeds and with proper tool clamps.

Advantages

This drill bit offers stable centring and reliable chip evacuation to reduce friction and heat generation during operation. Its solid build provides enhanced resistance to wear and bending under normal working conditions. The 2.5 cm diameter combined with a 90 mm length allows for medium-depth holes without the need for extensions, making it a convenient option for many tasks.

How to use

Secure the drill bit in the drill chuck and tighten according to the drill manufacturer's instructions. Select the appropriate drill speed for the material: lower speeds for harder materials and higher speeds for softwood. Mark the drilling point, align the bit perpendicular to the work surface, and start drilling with steady pressure. Withdraw the bit periodically on deeper holes to clear chips and reduce heat build-up. After use, clean debris from the flutes and store the bit in a dry place to prevent corrosion.

Recommendations

Use protective equipment such as safety glasses and gloves when drilling. Match drill speed and feed pressure to the material to extend bit life. For precise holes, pilot or centre punches can help maintain accurate positioning. Avoid excessive side-loads or bending forces to prevent premature wear or breakage.
