Foret Bosch SDS plus-7X 5 mm 115 mm

The Bosch EXPERT SDS plus-7X Hammer Bit (5 mm x 115 mm) is a rotary hammer drill bit designed for drilling in concrete, reinforced concrete and hard stone. The bit features a Full Carbide Head with a 4-cutter design and Bosch Carbide Technology to resist wear. The SDS plus shank fits standard SDS-plus rotary hammers for quick bit changes and steady drilling performance on construction sites and renovation jobs.

Advantages

The Full Carbide Head made from a single piece of carbide provides high impact resistance and reduces the risk of jamming in rebar. Bosch’s carbide tip and welding technology increase tip durability and the overall service life, delivering up to three times longer life than a standard drill bit. The 4-cutter geometry improves cutting efficiency and provides stable drilling in cured and hardened concrete.

Suitable for

• Drilling holes in cured concrete
• Drilling hardened reinforced concrete
• Drilling in hard natural stone (granite, gneiss)
• Fixings and installations on construction sites

How to use

Insert the SDS plus shank into a compatible rotary hammer and secure according to the tool manufacturer’s instructions. Use the hammer drilling mode for reinforced concrete and hard stone. Apply steady pressure without forcing the bit; allow the tool and carbide head to do the work. Withdraw the bit periodically to clear dust and debris and to avoid overheating.

Recommendations

For best results, use with SDS-plus rotary hammers at recommended speed and hammer settings. Wear appropriate eye, ear and respiratory protection when drilling concrete or stone. Replace the bit if the cutting performance declines or if visible damage appears on the carbide head.
