Foret diamant Cimco 208780 8,2 cm

The Cimco 208780 diamond drill bit with an 8.2 cm diameter is designed for drilling precise round holes in hard materials. The tool uses a diamond-coated cutting rim to deliver consistent cutting performance and extended service life. As a single-piece core bit, it is suitable for tasks that require steady guidance and clean edges when working with masonry, tile, stone and other dense surfaces.

Advantages

The diamond coating provides high abrasion resistance and maintains cutting sharpness over repeated use, reducing the need for frequent replacement. The rigid one-piece construction minimizes vibration and runout, helping to produce accurate holes with clean edges. Its diameter and rim design enable effective material removal while limiting chipping on brittle surfaces. The bit is compatible with standard drill holders and can be used with water cooling to improve cutting efficiency and reduce heat buildup.

Key specifications

How to use

Fit the diamond drill bit securely in the drill chuck or onto an appropriate arbor, ensuring concentric alignment. Start drilling at low speed and steady pressure to establish the cutting track; increase speed only after the rim has engaged the material. For brittle materials such as ceramic or porcelain, use light pressure and intermittent drilling to avoid cracking. For dense masonry and stone, use continuous water cooling to remove debris and reduce heat. After completion, withdraw the bit while the drill is still turning to avoid snagging the hole edges, then clean and dry the bit before storage.

Recommendations

Use a drill with sufficient torque and, when possible, employ water cooling during operation to extend the life of the diamond coating. Wear appropriate eye protection and dust control measures when drilling dry; for tile and stone, consider clamping or stabilizing the workpiece to prevent movement and chipping.
