Gardena 8951 Duroplast acier noir bleu

The Gardena 8951 Duroplast Steel Black Blue is a shovel designed for general gardening use, combining a Duroplast head and steel components with an ergonomic non-slip grip. The tool is intended to offer durable performance for tasks such as digging, turning soil and moving loose materials in home garden beds and borders. Its black and blue finish corresponds to Gardena’s product line and helps identify the tool in a garden environment.

Advantages

The combination of Duroplast and steel construction provides resistance to corrosion and mechanical stress while keeping the tool relatively lightweight. The ergonomic non-slip grip reduces hand fatigue and improves handling during repetitive tasks. The shovel’s shape and materials are chosen to maintain structural stability and consistent performance in typical garden conditions.

Suitable for

• Digging planting holes and trenches in garden beds
• Turning and loosening soil for flowerbeds and vegetable patches
• Moving and distributing compost, mulch or loose soil
• General landscaping tasks around lawns, borders and paths

Key specifications

• Construction materials: Duroplast head combined with steel components and handle elements
• Grip: Ergonomic non-slip handle designed for comfort and control
• Intended application: Manual gardening tasks including digging, turning soil and moving loose materials
• Finish: Black and blue color scheme

How to use

Position the shovel at the required location and insert the blade into soil by applying force through the handle, keeping a straight back and bending the knees to reduce strain. For planting, dig the appropriate sized hole, loosen surrounding soil and place the plant or seedling at the correct depth before backfilling. When moving compost, mulch or loose soil, scoop with the blade and transfer materials to the desired area, using short controlled movements to maintain balance and control.

Recommendations

Inspect the shovel before each use and clean off soil and debris after work to prevent material buildup. Store the tool in a dry place to reduce corrosion risk on steel components. Use protective gloves if working with rough or compacted soil, and avoid prying motions that could overload the tool beyond intended gardening tasks.
