Hub USB Helos 288390 Type-C 5000 Mbit/s argent

The Helos 288390 USB Hub is a compact Type-C docking accessory designed to expand connectivity for laptops, tablets and compatible devices. It provides a USB Type-C host interface and multiple ports including USB 3.0 and RJ-45 Gigabit Ethernet, enabling data transfer rates up to 5000 Mbit/s on supported USB links and Ethernet speeds of 10/100/1000 Mbit/s. The hub is housed in a durable aluminium casing with a silver finish and is powered via the host USB connection. Its short integrated cable simplifies placement close to the host while keeping the unit lightweight and portable.

Advantages

The hub combines high-speed USB 3.0 data transfer with a built-in Gigabit Ethernet port in a slim aluminium enclosure, offering a balance of performance and durability. Native Type-C connectivity removes the need for additional adapters on compatible hosts, and the powered-through USB connection reduces cable clutter by drawing power directly from the host. The silver aluminium body helps dissipate heat and provides a professional appearance suitable for office and home setups.

Suitable for

• Expanding ports on ultrabooks, laptops and tablets with USB Type-C
• Connecting to wired networks where Wi‑Fi is unavailable or unstable
• Attaching external USB storage, keyboards, mice and other USB peripherals
• Temporary workstation setups and travel where compact connectivity is needed

How to use

Connect the hub's USB Type-C plug to a compatible Type-C port on your computer or device. Once connected, the host should recognise the hub and install any required standard drivers automatically. Plug USB peripherals into the available USB 3.0 ports and connect an Ethernet cable to the RJ-45 port for wired network access. The hub draws power from the host; no separate power adapter is required for typical USB devices and network operation.

Recommendations

For reliable Gigabit network performance use a quality CAT5e or CAT6 Ethernet cable and ensure the host’s Type-C port supports data transfer. Avoid overloading the hub with high-power USB devices simultaneously; for multiple power-hungry peripherals consider using a powered USB hub or a device with dedicated power delivery. Keep the aluminium housing ventilated and avoid placing the hub on soft surfaces during extended heavy data transfer to assist heat dissipation.
