Key specifications

• Drive size: 1/2"
• Number of socket heads included: 1
• Overall length: 77 mm
• Weight: approximately 550 g
• Construction: robust metal alloy suitable for torque applications

How to use

Select a compatible ratchet or breaker bar with a matching 1/2" drive and attach the socket head securely. Position the socket over the fastener to ensure full engagement with the nut or bolt head, then apply steady torque in the required direction. For tightened or seized fasteners, use controlled, incremental force and consider using penetrating lubricant or heat as appropriate for the application. After use, inspect the socket for wear or damage and store it in a dry, organized toolbox to maintain functionality.

Recommendations

Use the socket only with tools and extensions rated for a 1/2" drive to avoid slippage or damage. Do not apply impact forces unless the socket and connected tools are specified for impact use. Regularly clean and lightly lubricate the drive interface to prevent corrosion and ensure consistent engagement. Replace the socket if visible rounding or cracking appears to maintain safe operation.
