How to use

Place the typewriter on a stable, level surface and insert a sheet of paper by releasing the paper bail and rolling the platen until the paper is aligned. Set the desired margins using the mechanical margin stops, and select the line spacing of 2 mm if adjustable. Type using the keyed ribbon mechanism, ensuring the ribbon is installed correctly and has sufficient ink. For continuous typing, use steady keystrokes at a pace appropriate to the maximum print speed to maintain clarity. After finishing, rewind the paper using the platen knob and remove it carefully.

Recommendations

To extend the device’s service life, keep the typewriter covered when not in use, replace the ribbon with manufacturer-compatible ribbons before print quality deteriorates, and perform light cleaning of the type slugs and carriage rails periodically. Use standard-weight paper compatible with the 22.9 cm printing width to avoid jams and ensure even impression quality.
