Marqueur permanent Edding 22 EcoLine pointe biseautée rouge

The Edding 22 EcoLine Chisel tip Red permanent marker provides consistent, fade-resistant red ink in a durable, eco-conscious design. The chisel-shaped nib allows both broad strokes and fine lines, making the marker suitable for a range of indoor tasks where permanent, visible marking is required. The polypropylene barrel is robust and designed for repeated use, while the ink formulation is free from xylene and toluene to reduce strong solvent odors and improve safety during indoor application.

Advantages

This marker combines a versatile chisel tip with a bright, long-lasting pigment that resists smudging and fading on many surfaces. The solvent composition omits xylene and toluene, reducing volatile organic compounds and making it more suitable for use in enclosed spaces. The solid polypropylene body resists wear and helps protect the nib; the cap seals tightly to prevent accidental drying. The EcoLine model reflects reduced environmental impact in materials and ink formulation while retaining the practical performance expected from a permanent marker.

Suitable for

• Labeling cardboard, plastic, metal and glass
• Crafts, scrapbooking and hobby projects
• Marking boxes, files and storage containers
• Temporary signage and posters

Key specifications

• Tip type: chisel (angled tip) for variable stroke widths
• Ink color: red
• Ink properties: permanent, quick-drying, xylene- and toluene-free
• Barrel material: durable polypropylene
• Line width: variable from fine to broad depending on angle and pressure
• Cap: snap-fit cap to reduce drying

How to use

Remove the cap and test the marker on a disposable surface to determine the angle and pressure needed for the desired line width. For broad strokes, hold the chisel edge flat against the surface; for fine lines, use the narrow edge or tip. Apply steady, even pressure and allow the ink a few seconds to dry to minimize smearing. Replace the cap firmly after use to preserve nib life and prevent drying.

Recommendations

Store the marker horizontally when not in use to promote even ink distribution. Use in well-ventilated areas when marking large surfaces for extended periods. Avoid use on sensitive textiles or untreated porous surfaces where permanent staining is not desired; test on an inconspicuous area first.
