METZ CONNECT OpDAT câble patch SC/SC OS2 2,0 m jaune

In high-speed fiber optic networks, every connection point is a potential source of signal loss and reflection. The METZ CONNECT OpDAT Patch Cable SC/SC OS2 2.0 m Yellow eliminates that weak link with factory-terminated SC connectors and premium single-mode OS2 fiber, ensuring minimal insertion loss and stable performance for demanding telecom and data center applications.

Who is it for

Network engineers, data center technicians, and telecom installers who need a reliable, ready-to-use patch cord for interconnecting optical distribution frames, switches, and transmission equipment. It is ideal for backbone links, FTTH extensions, and any high-speed single-mode infrastructure where consistent low-loss connections are critical.

Main features

• Single-mode OS2 fiber with 9/125 µm core/cladding for long-distance, high-bandwidth transmission.
• SC to SC connectors with UPC polish for low back reflection and repeatable performance.
• 2.0 mm yellow LSZH jacket: halogen-free, flame-retardant, and easily identifiable in dense cabling.
• Simplex design with aramid yarn strength members for durability and easy handling.
• Compliant with ITU-T G.657.A1 and G.652.D standards, ensuring compatibility with standard single-mode systems.
• Typical insertion loss < 0.3 dB and return loss > 50 dB for superior signal integrity.
