Micro-cravate Omnitronic 13106976 noir - sensibilité -37 dB

The Omnitronic 13106976 Black lavalier microphone is a compact wired microphone designed for close-miking speech and vocal sources. With a sensitivity of -37 dB and a frequency response spanning 50–20,000 Hz, this microphone captures clear speech details while remaining unobtrusive during interviews, presentations, and video recordings. The microphone uses a mini XLR 3-pin connector and operates from a 1.5 V supply. Its lightweight construction (approx. 20 g) and discreet black finish make it suitable for mobile and studio use where low visual impact is required.

Advantages

The microphone offers a balanced frequency range that preserves vocal clarity and reduces unnecessary low-frequency rumble. Its wired mini XLR connection provides a reliable signal path with minimal latency and stable operation for longer sessions. Low weight and compact form factor allow secure attachment to clothing without causing visible interference or discomfort. The microphone’s operating voltage and simple connection support compatibility with a range of portable audio interfaces and wireless transmitters that accept mini XLR inputs.

How to use

Clip the lavalier microphone to the speaker’s clothing at chest level, approximately 15–20 cm from the mouth, with the capsule pointing toward the speaker to ensure clear capture. Connect the mini XLR plug to the corresponding input on your recorder, mixer, or wireless transmitter. If the connected device provides a gain control, set input gain conservatively and perform a brief sound check to avoid clipping; adjust gain until levels are stable and speech is intelligible. When not in use, store the microphone in a protective pouch to avoid cable strain and protect the capsule from dust and moisture.

Recommendations

For best speech intelligibility, avoid placing the microphone directly against fabric or jewelry that may rub against the capsule. Use a small windscreen when recording outdoors or near air movement to reduce wind noise, and perform a short test recording in the actual environment to check placement and gain settings.
